We are looking for an experienced field market development scientist who will support the go-to-market strategy for all ChromaCode products. We want you to drive product adoption, investigate new opportunities as a partner to sales and marketing and assist as a back-up person in the lab when workload is at capacity. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team ensuring successful product adoption, transfer of scientific knowledge and identification of new opportunities to drive commercial success.

What you will be responsible for

  • Demonstrating the ChromaCode technology (assay and software) on-site at customer labs
    • Demonstrate product assay workflow and optimize customer workflow
    • Be the resident expert in the field to answer technical questions
    • Present technology to lab personnel and key decision makers
    • Troubleshoot issues on-site
  • Develop application notes and white papers to support strategic market development
  • Provide technical support to customers via email, telephone, or in person site visits
  • Identify new opportunities in the field for the company technology as part of market development
  • Communicate voice of customer (VOC) to the R&D team for product enhancements and new product development by assessing product requirements through customer interaction
  • Assisting in lab in-house as needed on assay development or verification and validation projects

Your ideal qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in molecular biology, genetics, biomedical engineering, or related field with a minimum of 5 years lab bench experience
  • Experience with assay and/or software development life cycle management.
  • Experience writing scientific posters, publications and preparing oral presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to present to all levels of an organization including the C-Suite
  • Experience in regulated (FDA) and non-regulated (life science research) and laboratory-developed test (LDT) environments
  • The ability to dialog with customers and internal assay developers at a deep technical level
  • Basic fundamental marketing skills (market analysis, branding, social media, trade show management, advertising, etc.)
  • Ability to seek out new opportunities in the field and bring forth to sales and marketing teams to work towards a close

We are seeking a senior full-stack software developer with proven experience in cloud technologies to join our growing software team. You will work with the VP of Software Engineering and CTO to build out a web-based data analysis platform and associated applications. The position entails the development of user-friendly interactive web frontends using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You will develop web services using a variety of technologies. We are hiring for multiple positions and the seniority/title of the final position will reflect your experience.

We are looking for an experienced Customer Support Specialist. The “CSS” will be responsible for interfacing with customers and supporting ChromaCode’s HDPCRTM product portfolio.

The CSS will be the first touch point for customers calling into ChromaCode to place orders and ask general questions.  The CSS will be responsible for working with internal teams to ensure timely processing of orders, documentation of calls, responding to customer inquiries and tracking customer orders according to ChromaCode SOP (Standard Operating Procedures). This position will report directly to the VP of Marketing.

What you will be responsible for:

  • As the main point of contact for our customers, this person will be responsible for processing and documenting multiple contracts, taking customer orders, tracking shipment of product and offering a top-notch quality service for a total customer experience.
  • Act as liaison between customers, sales, assay development, data science, software engineering and finance
  • Interact with sales, marketing and finance to ensure the successful execution of the contracts, key performance metrics and report on business metrics to Management
  • Provide technical guidance regarding the selection and use of the appropriate ChromaCode product to existing and prospective customers
  • Responsible for report generation and data delivery
  • Handle problem recognition, research, resolution, and follow up for routine and complex problems according to internal SOP and the quality complaint handling system
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting contract status updates to the ChromaCode sales team
  • Following all internal SOP related to the total customer journey and report any issues according the internal complaint handling system

Your ideal qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience in a biotechnology or medical device industries required; Combination of education and work experience will be considered
  • Knowledge of the federal regulated regulatory environment including IVD, LDT, ASR, ROU and IUO regulations
  • Knowledge in molecular biology preferred
  • Experience working with LIMS, CRM, Microsoft Excel and Outlook software
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer support skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

We are looking for an experienced Sales Account Executive to develop and grow a designated territory to drive and exceed sales goals for ChromaCode’s product line. This requires the creation and implementation of a territory business plan as well as the specific sales strategy within a defined geographic region.

The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for managing business results, sales activities, and cross functional initiatives in their respective territory. They will be responsible for making the day-to-day decisions required to manage a productive territory, retain existing customer base of business while growing sales through new account acquisition. The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for securing and analyzing relevant information, knowledge of territory, market intelligence, environmental factors and political landscape. This may be a position covering several states requiring frequent travel. The Sales Account Executive will have the opportunity to grow the organization as sales revenue increases and additional headcount are needed.

Your ideal qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant industry/commercial environment as a sales professional
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Understanding of molecular biology
  • Knowledge of FDA product regulations (ASR, ROU, IVD)
  • Experience selling Assay based tests into the Lab and/or Hospital clinical communities preferred
  • Experience within complex selling environments required
  • Must have a passion for customer service and education
  • Ability to travel and cover a multi-state geography is required
  • Ability to develop and utilize cross-functional relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals and objectives
  • Advanced presentation skills and business acumen
